Jordan Peele’s ‘Nope’ Trailer Unveils Keke Palmer, Daniel Kaluuya In an Ominous Thriller

Nope Trailer: Universal Pictures has unveiled the first trailer of ‘Nope’. With that, it becomes the 3rd film from Peele after ‘Us’ and Get Out’.

As per a report published in Variety, the plot of ‘Nope’ has not yet been revealed and looks quite similar to the director’s earlier film ‘Us’.

At the time of the launch of the project, Daniel Kaluuya, who felicitated with an Oscar nomination for his film ‘Get Out’ reunited with Keke Palmer and Peele had to be cast in their key roles.

After that no new information was shared regarding the same. It was however revealed that Steven Yeun joined the star cast of the film starring Michael Wincott, Brandon Perea and Barbie Ferreira in the film.

Peele unveiled the first official poster of his upcoming film titled ‘Nope’. It depicts an ominous cloud hanging over. It appears like a carnival along with a kite streamer.

The trailer is of 2 minute duration displaying the characters of Palmer and Kaluuya. It shows they run a horse training ranch for Hollywood productions

This is what Kaluuya’s character says, ‘What’s a bad miracle? We got a word for that?’

Peele also had some other releases in the past including ‘Us’ and ‘Get Out’. Both these films earned the tag of highly entertaining films, especially for showing social issues like systemic inequality and racism.

He even managed to grab an Oscar for his film ‘Get Out’ under the category of best original screenplay. He also received the nominations for best picture and best director.

Peele’s ‘Us’ was released in 2019 and since then he has produced numerous films under his banner Monkeypaw Productions. It was only last year when he produced films like Nia DaCosta’s ‘Candyman and Lovecraft Country’ on HBO in 2020 .

In his latest film ‘Nope’, Peele will serve as director and producer. While Robert Graf will serve as the executive producer.

 

 

‘Nope’ is scheduled to release in theatres on July 22, 2022.
