In his next production venture titled ‘Attack’, John Abraham looks keen to feature in the character of a soldier having superhuman ability.
The film has been postponed many times in the past due to COVID-19 crisis. The last time, it was scheduled to hit screen was on August 13, 2021. And now, the makers have decided to release the film on January 26, 2022.
The film also star Prakash Raj, Ratna Pathak Shah, Rakul Preet Singh and Jacqueline Fernandez in their pivotal roles. Due to the presence of high octane action stunts, the film has been categorized as the “mother of all action films”. Not only that, it’s also being planned to be a huge action film franchise.
As per a news published in Bollywood Hungama, John will be seen playing a superhuman character which is going to be entirely different as compared to any other action film made in the past.
The character being played by John Abraham is being compared to the one in Hollywood’s Deadpool and G.I. Joe. He will be seen doing some high energy action sequences All such dangerous action stunts have been choreographed by international stunt coordinator Ryan Sturz of Captain Marvel fame.
As per the film’s plot, ‘Attack’ basically revolves around a fictional attack in the Parliament where so many people are held hostages. The role of John Abraham in the film is the one who takes the initiative to rescue them all. The rest of the plot is all about race against time
‘Attack’ marks as an intelligent traction thriller with a strong and meaningful plot. The film actually marks the directional debut of Lakshya Raj Anand who was involved in the making of films like Bang Bang and Ek Tha Tiger. It’s produced by John Abraham in the association of Kyta Productions and Dheeraj Wadhwan. It’s written by Sumit Batheja, Vishal Kapoor and Lakshya Raj Anand.
John, in the meanwhile will be featured in Satyameva Jayate 2 to be directed by Milap Zaveri. It will be released in theaters on November 25. Next, he will also be seen in Mohit Suri’s Ek Villain Returns starring Tara Sutaria, Disha Patani and Arjun Kapoor in their lead roles. It’s scheduled to be released on July 8.
Next, he will be seen performing in Pathan starring Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan in their lead roles. He’s also lined up with yet another film which is the remake of Ayyappanum Koshiyum. It’s expected to go on floors on December 6.
