Hindi Medium box office collection has reached over the Rs 50 crore mark. The film’s collection has been going steady all along. Irrfan Khan movie going astoundingly strong and even managed to take a lead from new releases as well.
The film’s collection was over Rs 1.30 crore on Monday (May 5. 2017)
Ever since Irrfan Khan’s film was released, it started creating ripples among the audience. The reason why fans and the audience liked the film is because of its simplicity and strong script. Along with that you can see a thunderous acting performance from Irrfan Khan and other artists.
The movie had received rave reviews from fans and critics and is reported to have collected a whopping Rs 50 crore at the box office. As per the latest figures, the movie has managed to earn somewhere arounf=d Rs 54.90 crore till date and is running equally strong at the box office.

If you look at the figures, Hindi Medium has collected Rs 1.30 crore on Monday itself. As per the tweets from trade expert Taran Adarsh, Hindi Medium week 3 collection
- Friday collection (Hindi Medium) – Rs 1.76 crore
- Saturday collection (Hindi Medium) – Rs 2.75 crore
- Sunday collection (Hindi Medium) – Rs 3.00 crore
- Monday collection (Hindi Medium) – Rs 1.30 crore
Total: Rs 54.90 crore
The film stars Irrfan Khan and Pakistani actress Saba Qamar in their lead roles.
Hindi Medium is going strong as the film is getting all the love from the audience. However, if you look at some other films released along with Hindi Medium, you will get to know the real side of the story.
All we want to say that Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor’s film Half Girlfriend also released at the same time and also performed quite satisfactorily but couldn’t surpass Irrfan Khan’s Hindi Medium.

In the same ways, Sachin- A Billion Dreams also managed to amass Rs 46.91 crore till now. Taran tweeted the figures that say- Sachin Billion Dreams (week 2)-
- Friday collection (Sachin Billion Dreams) – Rs 1.48 crore
- Saturday collection (Sachin Billion Dreams) – Rs 2.32 crore
- Sunday collection (Sachin Billion Dreams) – Rs 1.91 crore
Total: Rs 46.91 crore
In the meanwhile, Irrfan posted on Instagram that he would like to work in Kangana Ranaut’s next film. He said “I see that Kangana is becoming a director and hope she would definetely cast me in her next film.”
He further said what he liked about Kangana is the way she has managed to make her place in the ever changing industry. And you can see her career graph which has been phenomenal.
Irrfan conveyed some final words of praise to the audience and his entire team. He said “I’d like to thank the audience for liking the film. I also want to congratulate our team as well.” He said that media play a huge role in communicating to the audience.
The media (in fact) play the major role in marketing your stuff. He also said that audience believes in word of mouth and then decide to visit to the theatres to watch a film.
