Fans already know that Gangubai Kathiawadi will star Alia Bhat in the lead role. And with that it has become one of the most sought films in 2021.
Those who are following the progress of this film, they might be aware that the project is pending for long to complete.
The most recent shoot of the film was started in March but again had to get postponed due to the COVID-19 crisis in India followed by a lockdown in the state of Maharashtra.
It’s because the second wave of coronavirus has almost devastated the entire nation with hundreds of causalities.
Even now, the situation is going weird at some places. Thanks to the phase-wise lockdown in different parts of the country.
In Maharashtra too, the state government had earlier imposed the phase-wise lockdown.
But since the situation has improved in the recent past, the government has allowed film’s shooting to take place with all the safety precautions.
As per the latest Bollywood news published in the news daily, Alia was currently shooting for this film in the month of March. And the director Sanjay Leela Bhansali wanted her to resume with the same.
The current update says that Alia has to continue with the dance sequence as the director wants her to do so. After the song is successfully done, he’s expected to wrap up the entire shooting of the film.
The dance sequence is currently being held in Goregaon Film City with all the mandatory safety measures to combat Covid-19 infection.
