The film instantly started to get all the praise from the audience after it released in Mumbai. Those who still have not watched the film or doesn’t know anything about the reasons for the sucess of Dhurandhar may switch to what leading trade analyst Taran Adarsh has to say.
As per Adarsh, the film grabbed a major success both in India and aborad in spite of the overt violence along with the attached ‘A’ censor certificate. Taran Adarsh says Dhurandhar’s success basically contribute to a number of factors. One of them is the taste of the audience which has changed in the recent time.
Today, the audience is focussed to watch films based on larger-than-life action drams. Although, the violence that we see in Dhurander doesn’t actually a deterrent; the film basically showcased exactly what the audience preferred to watch.
Apart from the universal factors that helped the film to achieve success, there are some other factors that can’t be neglected. For example, the performance of Ranveer Singh in the film has got an immense praise from the audience.
It complimented with some great background score, marvellous action choreography, and lastly, the emotional undercurrent.
The film managed to achieve its narrative clearly and precisely. On the other hand, the violence in the film never looked like to have imposed in the film and looked natural.
Taran Adarsh again stressed upon the fact that the success of Dhurandhar never relied on its hype alone. He said hype can only give you a great opening but not in the long run.
It’s only the film’s content that can help a film to live long. He furthr stated that Dhurandhar happens to be a bona fide blockbuster. The film showcases every artist a kind of Dhurandhar in his own ways.
