As per the latest Bollywood news, Bombay High Court dismisses the instance of pre-arrest bail plea of Bollywood choreographer Remo D’souza in a cheating case filed by the businessman Satyendra Tyagi in the Ghaziabad (UP) court three years back.
The case detail goes back in 2016 when Tyagi came in contact with Remo D’souza and gave him a sum of Rs 5 crore to invest in a film. As per his deal with D’souza, the choreographer had to return double the amount after the release of the film.
The court confronted that the warrant issued by a UP (Uttar Pradesh) court is still to reach at the Mumbai Police station. And this is the reason why no action can be taken against the actor at this point of time.
It all happened on October 23, 2019 when a Ghaziabad magistrate court issued a non-bailable warrant against Remo after he consistently failed to appear before the court despite giving repeated summons.
However, the actor approached the court recently to seek an interim relief from his arrest. He has done this simply to cancel his warrant that was issued against him by the UP court.
As per the details that came out after investigating the case by Justice K K Tated, it was revealed that the Mumbai police station has still not received the warrant from the UP police station. This is why; there is no question of any sort of action to be taken against the Bollywood choreographer.
While hearing the case, it was revealed that Justice Tated has accepted the statement and dismissed the petition.
Earlier, the businessman Stayendra Tyagi had narrated in the court that D’souza had to return double the money that he had given to D’souza after the film’s release.
To be precise, Tyagi had given D’souza, a sum of Rs 5 crore. As per the deal, D’souza had to return double the amount after the release of the film titled Amar Must Die.
But even after the film was released, the choreographer simply refused to return the money. Not only that, he was also about to rope in a gangster to threaten the businessman.
