Shah Rukh Khan dropped the teaser of his upcoming film Pathaan on his 57th birthday. Soon after releasing the teaser, it converted into a huge controversy, especially on the release of the song “Besharam Rang”. As per protestors, the song has hurt the sentiments of Hindus. Since then the film has been surrounded by hate by protestors.
Shah Rukh Khan attended the 28th Kolkata International Film Festival (KIFF) on Thursday in the presence of peers from Bollywood including Rani Mukerji, Shatrughan Sinha, and Amitabh Bachchan.
At KIFF, Shatrughan Sinha Calls Shah Rukh Khan A “National Star”
Shatrughan Sinha, while addressing the audience at the KIFF, he spoke a few kind words for Shah Rukh Khan and called him a national star.
This is what he said, “We would like to dedicate this evening to make it clear that there is no need to call Shah Rukh Khan by his name. Instead, just say National Star and it stands for Shah Rukh Khan. Thank you.”
The audience also looked fully excited and cheered every moment of the event. SRK was seen blushing after getting all the compliments from the veteran Bollywood actor.
