The latest development in the Aryan Khan drug case is that the sessions court has adjourned the hearing for tomorrow.
Aryan Khan’s lawyer Amit Desai told the court that no drug has been recovered from the captivity of his client. And so, he should be given a bail in the case.
This is what he spoke, “They are some young kids. In many countries these substances are legal. Let us not penalize in bail. Let us not make it worse for them. They have suffered enough, they have learnt their lesson, if at all. They are not peddlers, racketeers or traffickers.” he said.
At the same time, he also made it clear that false accusations are being framed against him.
After that it was the NCB turn to make their point. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in its reply stated that they have all the documents to prove that Aryan and others can’t be taken as individuals and have all the valid links with international drug trafficking gang that needs to be busted at any cost.
Admissions and Questioning were recorded in the Panchanama. This is what Amit Desai stated, “Someone may have told you that Aryan Khan has drugs, he will consume, but that is incorrect. They identified persons as if they had photos, but then that is intelligence of agencies, they do a lot of good work also! They must have known it all and they wanted to catch them, but Khan had zero, so any information they had was false. As per the panchnama and everything else, Khan admits that Merchant was carrying charas for consumption. How admissions are recorded in panchnamas? That is a separate issue for consideration.”
It was on October 2 when SRK’s son Aryan Khan was arrested red handed for taking illegal and banned drugs. He had plans to celebrate on a cruise ship by taking drugs. After NCB raided the cruise ship, they were first sent to the custody of NCB after which they were sent to the judicial custody. Aryan is currently lodged in the Arthur road jail in Mumbai.
