The fact that Akshaye Khanna is in high demand because of his two previous superhit films Dhurander, and Chhaava, the actor has reportedly revised his remuneration. Well, the recent fee hike by the actor has surprised everyone including the makers of Drishyam 3, which is currently under production.
As per the facts, Akshaye earlier played a memorable role in Drishyam 2, which was basically the Hindi adaptation of a Malayalam thriller played by Tabu and Ajay Devgn.
The presence of Akshaye Khanna in this film proved magical as the actor specifically added a great narrative to the sequel. And now, the audience again want him to return in the 3rd installment of Drishyam.
As per the latest reports, the makers of Drishyam 3 were not aware of his sudden fee hike. It further suggests that there can be multiple issues why he parted ways with Drishyam 3. In addition to the remuneration issues, there can be some other issues like differences between the makers and the actor.
If you look at the report, it further says that the exit of Akshaye Khanna from Drishyam 3 is not final as there is still a room for negotiations.

The making of Drishyam 3 continues to woo the audience as the film is also being produced in Malayalam. However, the makers will release the original version first. The Hindi adaptation of Drishyam 3 is expected to hit the big screen on October 2, 2026.
Drishyam 3 is reported to star Ishita Dutta, Shriya Saran, Tabu, in their respective roles. But it looks like the fans are actually waiting to see the return of Akshaye Khanna in the franchise, especially after this conflict has got such a hype in the media.
