In a tweet, Bhupathi defended Prabhas, praising his dedication to advancing Indian cinema globally. He implied that Warsi’s criticism was fueled by envy and a sense of underappreciation in the industry.

Arshad Warsi’s Review of Kalki 2898 AD

Arshad Warsi’s initial critique of Kalki 2898 AD had already sparked considerable buzz, and Bhupathi’s response has further fueled the controversy.

In a podcast interview with Samdish Bhatia, Warsi expressed his disappointment, saying, “Prabhas, I’m truly upset. He came across as a joker. I was expecting something like Mad Max with Mel Gibson. What have you turned it into? I can’t understand why such choices are made.”

Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film features Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan. It ends with a cliffhanger, suggesting that a sequel is on the horizon.
