Zendaya Looks All Set to play Lola Bunny in ‘Space Jam: A New Legacy’


Zendaya, who’s better known as Zendaya Maree Stoermer Coleman is known to lend her voice to the character of Lola Bunny in the film titled ‘Space Jam: A New Legacy’. The inclusion of the actor’s name was confirmed after the official announcement from the film’s makers on Twitter.

This is what the official tweet said, “Welcome to the Jam, @Zendaya,”. The actress is an American producer and singer who started her career as a backup dancer before coming to the limelight for playing the character of Rocky Blue on one of the popular Disney channel sitcons titled Shake It Up (2010–2013).



‘Space Jam: A New Legacy’ happens to be a sequel to the 1996 released film titled “Space Jam”. It was a cult classic led by Michael Jordon. The sequel where Zendaya will lend her voice to the character of Lola Bunny will follow the NBA superstar LeBron James after he’s thrown into the world of digital space known as “The Serververse,”.

This is where his son (Ceyair J Wright) who’s taken away by a suspicious algorithm Al-G Rhythm (Don Cheadle).

The upcoming animation and sports film is where James is expected to teams up with Looney Tunes and will be shown competing against the algorithm’s Goon Squad in basketball. It will also witness the safe return of his son. It will be directed by Malcolm D. Lee.

As per an update, the team Looney Tunes is going to include characters like Porky Pig, Bugs Bunny, Roadrunner, Marvin the Martian, Lola Bunny and others.

The cast is also going to feature some other faces including Cedric Joe, Sonequa Martin-Green and Khris Davis in their respective pivotal roles.
