It all happened on big Christmas Day when Pushpa 2 raked in a remarkable Rs 23.89 crore gross (20.25 crore net) in India. Its overseas earnings also saw a boost, bringing in Rs 1.65 crore. The overall gross collection for the day stood at Rs 25.54 crore.
On day 22, there has been a drop in earnings, as anticipated for a regular day. However, the film still managed to bring in an impressive Rs 13.45 crore gross (Rs 11.40 crore net) from India. Overseas, it added another 1 crore gross, totaling 14.45 crore gross for the day.
On day 22, Pushpa 2 has achieved an astounding 1140.65 crore net at the Indian box office, with a total of 1345.96 crore when including taxes. Overseas, the film has grossed 285.25 crore.
Combining both domestic and international earnings, its worldwide box office total reaches an impressive 1631.21 crore.
After earning a gross total of Rs 1631.21 crore in a span of 3 weeks, it seems Pushpa 2 is on track to cross the 1700 crore milestone soon. However, it seems unlikely to surpass the 1800 crore lifetime gross of Baahubali 2.
