Nicole Kidman, John Lithgow Collaborate In Animated Musical Spellbound

As per the latest update, Skydance Animation and Apple Original Films announced that Javier Bardem and Nicole Kidman have teamed up for the cast of their upcoming animated musical Spellbound.

Out of them, Nicole Kidman is supposed to give voice for the role of Ellsmere Queen of Lumbria whereas Javier Bardem will voice Solon, the great, brave and big hearted king of Lumbria.

Taken together, they are also called as the parents of Princess Ellian (to be voiced by Rachel Zegler) who mainly join together to save her entire family and kingdom. It ll happens after they suddenly get a huge transformation to become monsters.

After becoming monsters, they threatens to cover the entire Lumbria in darkness forever.

John Lithgow, who’s a multi-award winner is also supposed to join the cast. He will lend his voice for Jenifer Lewis and Minister Bolinar who is supposed to voice for Minister Nazara Prone. They happen to be the loyal advisors of Princess Ellian.

Now, Ellian seeks out The Oracles of the Sun and Moon which will be voiced by Emmy-winner André De Shields and Nathan Lane. This is done specifically to break the spell of her parents and the entire kingdom.

In the entire journey, Ellian meets a number of characters who actually help her. This includes Callan, who’s just a young motivator to be voiced by Jordan Fisher.

The direction in Spellbound will be given by Vicky Jenson which has been written in the association of Linda Woolverton, Elizabeth Martin and Lauren Hynek. The music and songs for the film is scored by Alan Menken who’s an Academy Award Winner.

Please note that Spellbound is basically an special lineup of Skydance Animation and Apple Original Films projects. It also includes the upcoming titles like animated series Wondla and the highly anticipated feature Luck.

As per another announcement, Skydance Animation and Apple Original Films are expected to premiere their first animated feature Luck on Apple TV+ on August 5 later this year.
