Legendary Season Three Scrapped At HBO Max

The season one of the Legendary show was debuted in the year 2020 which was followed by second season in 2021. Similarly, the season 3 was kicked off in May this year.

The news about scrapping the show first broke after ‘FBoy Island,’ another fan-favorite unscripted project at the streamer was called-off.

The finale of ‘Legendary,’ like ‘FBoy Island,’ was heading towards a big narrative. The decision involved was of CEO David Zaslav who’s known to have brought the reason of cost cutting.

Now, with more cancellations, HBO Max’s unscripted division redundancies became an east target after Zaslav stated a goal to find $3 billion in synergy savings over the next 3 years.

The ensemble cast of the ‘Legendary’ include Michael Williams, Rob Eric, and David Collins who all worked as executive producers of the show. It was produced by Scout Productions.

The show’s showrunners included the names of Josh Greenberg and Jane Mun.
