Robert Pattinson, who’s a 35 year old star was cast in the role of Batman after the exit of Ben Affleck who had earlier played some memorable roles in films like ‘Justice League and ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’.

Just like Pattinson, Affleck too faced a huge backlash finally decided to step down as the star of ‘The Batman’. The entire drama moved a step further when Reeves was made to join as the director of the project from Warner Bros.

Both Reeves and Pattinson always liked to bring a fresh approach to the Batman character which was a part of the culture for over 80 years.

This is what Pattinson told in an interview, “In our first meeting, Matt mentioned Kurt Cobain was one of the linchpins of the character. Just that put something in my head. There’s something about this kind of self-imposed torment that I always found really interesting and also inheriting a life that you’re not entirely sure you want but also feel like you cannot give up at all. I remember we also talked a lot about Michael Corleone,” he said.

The Batman starring Andy Serkis, John Turturro, Jeffery Wright, Colin Farrell, Paul Dano, and Zoe Kravitz in their lead roles. The film was released on March 4, 2022.
