Akshay Kumar’s Kesari Chapter 2 created a strong buzz at the box office, securing the second-highest BMS ticket sales on its first Tuesday among all Hindi films, just behind one title
Kesari Chapter 2, starring Akshay Kumar, cast a strong spell at the box office by outpacing the first Tuesday BMS ticket sales of every Hindi release in 2025, with the exception of Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava. The special ₹99 ticket deal gave the film a significant boost in audience turnout.
Racing Toward a Million Mark
The film has sold an impressive 793.26K tickets on BookMyShow so far, and it’s steadily closing in on the coveted 1 million mark.
With the second weekend approaching and positive word of mouth gaining strength, it’s likely to surpass the milestone soon and continue climbing higher.
Ticket Sales of Kesari Chapter 2
On its first Tuesday, Kesari Chapter 2 outshined Akshay Kumar’s previous release Sky Force in terms of BookMyShow ticket sales. The film managed to sell nearly 14,000 more tickets than Sky Force did on the same day of its release.

While both Kesari Chapter 2 and Sunny Deol’s Jaat rolled out the Rs 99 ticket offer on their first Tuesday, the real showdown was between these two crowd-pullers.
Interestingly, Akshay Kumar’s courtroom drama, also starring Ananya Panday and R Madhavan, saw a 13% higher turnout in ticket sales on BookMyShow compared to Jaat.
Now, with this momentum, it’ll be worth watching if Kesari Chapter 2 overtakes Jaat in total ticket sales by the end of its run
