After one week in theaters, Devara: Part 1 has had a fluctuating box office performance. The film started off with an impressive Rs 82.5 crore on its opening day but saw a gradual dip in earnings over the week.
Thanks to the Gandhi Jayanti holiday, collections surged to Rs 21 crore on Wednesday, following a Rs 14 crore haul on Tuesday.
Devara Part 1 Box Office Day 7: Jr NTR’s Film Witnesses A Sharp Drop
Devara: Part 1 witnessed a sharp decline in its Thursday earnings, dropping to Rs 7.25 crore from Rs 21 crore on Wednesday, reflecting a 65% dip.
The start of the Navratri season may have impacted footfalls as people turn their attention to festive celebrations like garba.
The film’s total domestic box office collection, across all languages, now stands at Rs 215.6 crore.
Released in five languages, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The film stars Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan, and Janhvi Kapoor. Hopes are now pinned on its performance over the second weekend.
