Directed by Laxman Utekar, the historical drama reportedly added Rs. 2.35 crore to its collection on its fifth Thursday, according to Sacnilk. As the weekend approaches, the film is expected to move closer to the Rs. 600 crore landmark.

Chhaava, despite its steller performance, has faced challenges like online piracy. The movie was leaked through around 1,818 unauthorized links.
A legal case has been filed under CR No. 23/2025, invoking Sections 316(2) and 308(3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), along with Sections 51, 63, and 65A of the Copyright Act, Section 6AA of the Cinematograph Act (1952, amended in 2023), and Sections 43 and 66 of the Information Technology Act.
