Released on February 14, Valentine’s Day, this historical drama about Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the courageous son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, captivated audiences from the get-go. The film quickly surpassed the Rs. 100 crore milestone, showcasing its wide appeal.
Chhaava has shown remarkable box office success, crossing the Rs. 200 crore and Rs. 300 crore milestones in record time. Now in its third week, the film keeps setting new benchmarks, outpacing the third-week earnings of some of the biggest blockbusters in recent years.

Now, entered into its 3rd week, Chhaava has amassed an outstanding Rs. 84.94 crore, making it the second-highest grossing film in its third week, only behind Pushpa 2 – The Rule, which earned Rs. 107.75 crore.
Despite Pushpa 2 maintaining its lead, Chhaava has surpassed several other major blockbusters that previously held strong positions in the box office rankings.
Chhaava’s third-week performance stands out even more when compared to other major box office successes. The film has outpaced Stree 2, which grossed Rs. 72.83 crore in its third week, with Chhaava earning 16.6% more.
Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, a historic blockbuster, earned Rs. 69.75 crore in its third week, yet Chhaava surpassed it by an impressive 21.8%. Similarly, Gadar 2, which captured hearts across the nation, collected Rs. 63.35 crore, but Chhaava outperformed it by 34.1%.
Chhaava has surpassed several high-profile films, including Jawan, Animal, K.G.F: Chapter 2, Pathaan, and Dangal. Even though Jawan had a stellar run, it earned Rs. 55.93 crore in its third week, which is 51.8% less than Chhaava’s impressive collections.
Animal fell behind with Rs. 53.63 crore in its third week, putting it 58.5% lower than Chhaava. K.G.F: Chapter 2 earned Rs. 49.14 crore, which is 72.9% less than Chhaava. Pathaan and Dangal also lagged, bringing in Rs. 46.95 crore and Rs. 46.35 crore respectively.
The ongoing success of Chhaava in its 3rd week highlights its compelling story, strong performances, and the emotional connection it has established with audiences.
