Boston Blue’ Recasts Sean Reagan & Selects Mika Amonsen for Danny’s Son Role In ‘Blue Bloods’

Sean who happens to be the youngest son of Danny Reaga is going to appear in a different look after he casts along with his dad in Boston Blue.

It’s the upcoming CBS’ drama series where Mika Amonsen is known to have been cast opposite Donnie Wahlberg. Well, it will be interesting to check out the new combination on the special Blue Bloods offshoot. It will finally take over the role of Sean Reagan.

It was Seam who was actually played by Andrew Terraciano on Blue Bloods. The special thing about that was he managed to excel along the entire series.

The latest is that the role has been recast for Boston Blue, mainly due to a shift in his storyline as he begins a career in law enforcement. His role in the spinoff also helps anchor Danny’s transition from New York to Boston.

As per the latest update, Boston Blue witnesses Wahlberg none other than Danny Reagan. He looks to have been transitioning from the NYPD to a role with the Boston PD.

He has a strong team with Lena Silver, who’s a detective. She’s known to have played with Sonequa Martin-Green. He simply hails from a reputed law law enforcement family in Boston.

Having relocated to Boston, Sean begins his career as a Boston PD patrolman. While committed to upholding his family’s legacy in law enforcement.

He was further determined to do it his own way in being too far from New York. With Danny (Wahlberg) also choosing to stay in Boston, the two now have a chance to reconnect and deepen their relationship.

Jack and Sean Reagan, portrayed by real-life brothers Andrew and Tony Terraciano, followed different paths on Blue Bloods. For example, Jack left for college in Season 9 and focused on becoming a doctor. He appear quite occasionally due to his professional commitments

On the other hand, Sean stayed back in the series, exploring various career options during high school. In the finale, he was college-bound. Boston Blue will reveal what inspired him to take up the badge in Boston.

At the moment, Sean Reagan happens to be the first confirmed Reagan addition to the Blue Bloods offshoot after Danny. More family members are expected to appear in future episodes.

Amonsen intends to join Boston Blue series along with Martin-Green, and Wahlberg. The series showcases Ernie Hudson as Reverend Peters, Gloria Reuben as Mae Silver, Marcus Scribner as Jonah Silver, and Lawson as Sarah Silver.

As per the latest update, Boston Blue has recently commenced its production. Further, Boston Blue is on track for a fall launch in Blue Bloods’ usual Friday 10 PM spot. CBS Studios and Jerry Bruckheimer Television are producing. Brandon Margolis are currently serving as showrunners and executive producers.

Donnie Wahlberg, KristieAnne Reed, and Jerry Bruckheimer, are also attached as executive producers. The series will be distributed globally by Paramount Global Content Distribution.

Mika Amonsen previously appeared in Reacher on Prime Video. He later grabbed a role in Eli Roth’s slasher hit Thanksgiving. He’ll next be seen in Corin Hardy’s horror thriller Whistle.
