Famous Actor & Comedian Bob Saget Takes His Last Breath At 65

As per the statement received from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office in Orlando, Florida, Bob Saget, the renowned comedian and actor who was undisputedly known best by audiences as wholesome patriarch Danny Tanner on the sitcom “Full House,” is no more.

He was 65.

This is what the Sheriff’s statement read, “Earlier today, deputies were called to the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes for a call about an unresponsive man in a hotel room. The man was identified as Robert Saget & pronounced deceased on scene. Detectives found no signs of foul play or drug use in this case,”

 

How Did Bob Saget Die?

Although, no cause of death is known until now, it will be determined only after a thorough medical examination. As per known sources, Saget was on a tour to Florida where he was scheduled to enact. As per the dates of his tour pinned on Twitter, the star actor performed on Saturday night Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.

 

 

Saget’s tweet surfaced right after the show. This is what he tweeted, “Loved tonight’s show @PV_ConcertHall in Jacksonville. Appreciative audience. Thanks again to @RealTimWilkins for opening. I had no idea I did a 2 hr set tonight. I’m happily addicted again to this s—t.”

 

Bob Saget Full House

Saget was also known for his light humor and excellent acting skills. But he became famous only on on family-friendly programming. At that time, he starred on the popular Sitcom “Full House” as widowed father of three girls. Next, he appeared as the sole host on network’s “America’s Funniest Home Videos” clip show.

In one of his interviews, Bob Saget even recalled to Jake Tapper. His career track was totally unexpected. This is what he quoted, “‘Full House’ was an accident,” he said. “I got fired on CBS and was asked to be in ‘Full House.'”

The interesting part of Sitcom was that it managed to run for eight seasons and starred actors like Jodie Sweetin, Candace Cameron Bure and twins Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen in one role.

Later, Netflix picked up a spin-off in 2016, “Fuller House,” starring Bure. The streaming giant started picking up actors like John Stamos, Dave Coulier and Bob Saget. The show ran for 5 seasons and concluded in the year 2020.

 

 

This is what Bob Saget told Tapper, “I’m close with all the kids. It doesn’t happen a lot in the world where you stay close with all the people. He further added, “We’re an unusual cast in that way that I have been able to remain close with everybody, because I don’t take eight years of my life lightly and then the other five or six years, six seasons.”

John Stamos, who’s one of the co-stars of Bob Saget has expressed deep sorrow for an unexpected loss. This is what he yweeted, “I am broken. I am gutted, “I am in complete and utter shock. I will never ever have another friend like him. I love you so much Bobby.”

Although Saget continued to work in different Sitcoms with all the fame, he also intended to work in television and films as well. But he was introduced to the lovers of new generation sitcoms only on CBS’s “How I Met Your Mother,” where he enacted as a narrator along with the voice future Ted Mosby. The show became popular and ran for nine years (2005-2014).

In all those active years of Saget, he remained an icon of comedy. He released a plethora of specials over the years that helped him taking the show on the road.

After Bob Saget’s demise, many Hollywood celebrities have come forward to present their grief.

Saget comes under a very few people who made his own spot and reputation in the world of comedy and acting. For example, he appeared in some movies like “The Aristocrats”. He also made a guest appearance in HBO’s “Entourage”.

Bob Saget was once asked to define his humor in the year 2013. At that time, this is what he had said, “I am basically just a nine-year-old boy that evolved.”

It was revealed that Saget toured Florida to have some of his comedy shows. Due to this, he travelled in different locations of like Canada and New York. He had to travel so many other locations in the future.

As per the info given on Saget’s website, the comedian often had to raise money for a foundation named Scleroderma Research Foundation. He served as one of the board directors of this foundation.

It was in 2020 when he launched his own podcast “Bob Saget’s Here For You,”. Well, it was an interview show where he got chance to welcome celebrities on his show like Norman Lear, Whoopi Goldberg, Jason Sudeikis and Tiffany Haddish.

One of those who paid tribute to late Bob Saget was Lear who wrote, “Bob Saget was as lovely a human as he was funny,” Lear wrote on Twitter. “And to my mind, he was hilarious. We were close friends and I could not have loved him more.”

Likewise, many other fellow comedians paid their last respects to Saget. Marc Maron, former podcaster and comedian wrote, “Oh no. RIP Bob Saget. Truly one of the nicest guys and so funny. Very sad.”

Another famous comedian Gilbert Gottfried couldn’t believe the news of Bob Saget’s demise and he called it a “shock” over the news. This is what he wrote, “I just spoke with Bob a few days ago. We stayed on the phone as usual making each other laugh. RIP to friend, comedian & fellow Aristocrat Bob Saget.”
