Baby John has failed to make an impact at the box office, with its earnings just above Rs 38 crore after 12 days, despite a strong cast and significant budget.
Varun Dhawan starrer Baby John, which hit theaters on December 25, 2024, was expected to be an action-packed hit but has instead become one of the biggest flops in Bollywood this year.
The film, directed by Kalees and produced by Atlee, stars Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi in the lead roles, with Jackie Shroff playing the primary antagonist. Salman Khan also makes a brief appearance in one of the shots.

Box Office Struggle
Despite being a remake of Atlee’s 2016 hit Theri, Baby John has not managed to connect with viewers.
On its 12th day, the film earned just Rs 90 lakh, bringing its total net collection in India to Rs 38.60 crore, according to Sacnilk.com.
With a global gross of around Rs 60 crore, Baby John falls short of its Rs 180 crore budget.
This places it among the 2024 films that have underperformed, including Maidaan, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.
Audience Response & Stiff Competition
Baby John has struggled to gain momentum, especially with Pushpa 2: The Rule, featuring Fahadh Faasil, Rashmika Mandanna, and Allu Arjun, still dominating the box office.
Disney’s Mufasa: The Lion King has appealed to family viewers, further affecting Baby John’s box office numbers.
