The cast who attended the trailer launch was Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Trisha Krishnan, Aishwarya Rai, and Vikram
In the launch event, the authors of Ponniyin Selvan writer writer Kalki’s granddaughter Gowri Narayanan were also present
The film is to hit screen on September 30 worldwide in languages like Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi
Right after thr launch and release of the Ponniyin Selvan trailer, it managed to grab 30 lakh views on YouTube
The music for the film has been composed by AR Rahman. n the occasion, he performed the songs from PS-1 with a live orchestra
