The movie stars Pothineni in the lead caste. The film was made available for free download on movierulz and many other similar pirated websites that are constantly emerging in their own web space.
After the film was leaked online, the makers raised their concern about the growing number of such incidences.
Telugu film industry has been going through the huge threat of piracy for the last couple of years.
This is because you can see every small or big budget Telugu movie that gets released is being leaked on their online platforms.

iSmart Shankar is directed by none other than Puri Jagannadh that managed to receive a positive response both from the critics and the audience.
The movie continued to witness a great surge in the box office collection with more users praising the film.
But within sometime, the news broke out that said that iSmart Shankar was leaked online by one of the pirated websites named.

Talking about the performance of iSmart Shankar, the Telugu film received huge appreciation both from the audience and the critics at the same time. Now, with the piracy, the overall box office collection of the movie went down than expected.
Most recently, these websites targeted Vikram’s new Tamil release ‘Kadaram Kondan‘ along with Hollywood movie ‘The Lion King’. Both these movies were leaked online soon after they were released.
Well, this Tamil film has been perfuming marvelously in spite of all these unwanted incidences. To update you with its performance, the film has collected a worldwide gross of Rs 45 crore within the first weekend itself.
Please know that iSmart Shankar happens to be a 2019 Tollywood movie directed and written by Puri Jagannath. It’s basically a Telugu action drama that stars Nidhhi Agerwal, Nabha Natesh and Ram Pothineni in their lead roles.
The movie has so many great Tamil artists who worked at different levels. iSmart Shankar released on July 19, 2019 in Telugu language. Junaid Siddiqui has done the editing of this film whereas Raju Thota worked in photography direction.
