IPL 2022 Schedule & Time Table: IPL 2022 kick started on March 26, 2022 as per schedule. It’s one of the most awaited sport events that make people of the country crazy. But no worries. IPL 2022 is right here.

This year, Tata is sponsoring the entire IPL season. The opening match for Tata IPL 2022 has been already played between last year’s finalists CSK Vs KKR on March 26, 2022. The match was played at Wankhede stadium Mumbai.

It’s the Honorary Secretary of BCCI, Jay Shah who released the entire IPL 2022 schedule along with venue, match list, time table for all respective league matches on March 6, 2022.

 

 

IPL 2022 Schedule & Time Table

The year 2022 is being witnessed as the 15th edition of IPL 2022 which has already commenced from 26th March 2022. As per schedule, as many as 55 matches will be played in Mumbai and the rest 15 will be played in Pune.

A total of 4 stadiums will serve for the entire league. The break up of matches are as follows. As many as 20 matches will be played at the Wankhede, Mumbai, 15 at Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) ground, Pune, 20 matches at DY Patil Stadium and 15 matches are to be played at Brabourne Stadium.

The IPL 2022 final match is scheduled to be played at Ahmedabad, Gujarat on May 29, 2022. This year, the sponsorship of IPL is being done by Tata and will be called as Tata IPL 2022.

 

 

IPL 2022 Time Table

The IPL 2022 will consists of as many as 70 matches to be played during the entire season. This year, two new teams have been added to play the league matches.

They include Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants. Please also note that the league matches for IPL 2022 will be staged nowhere else Maharashtra.

Please note that this year, IPL 2022 will be witnessing as many as 10 teams. They will play 74 matches in a span of 60 days.

The incumbent winner of Indian Premier League (IPL) was none other than Chennai Super Kings (CSK). On the other hand the most successful IPL teams so far has been Mumbai Indians (MI).

So far, BCCI is not reported to have finalized the official match timing and dates and the official notification about the same still seems to be pending. But you will find the tentative IPL schedule 2022 in this post.

 

 

IPL 2022 Time Table and Dates

The original start date of IPL 2022 is March 26, 2022. Right from the beginning of the new season of the season, fans looked excited to witness every game with excitement.

As we mentioned, above, two new teams have been added this year and this will now make a total of 10 teams in the current IPL 2022 session.

The first match is scheduled to be played between the defending champion Chennai Super Kings against Kolkata Knight Riders in the opening match on March 26, 2022.

IPL 2022 Format

As per the latest update, the format of the IPL 2022 has been changed this year. A total of 10 teams are scheduled to fight this year to win the title.

All 10 teams are divided into two groups (Group A and Group B). Both these group will comprise five teams each. They will play 14 league matches.

The upcoming IPL 2022 season is going to include one eliminator, two qualifiers and the final match.
