Rohit Shetty, Ajay Devgan Admit ‘Golmaal 2- A Crap Film

Rohit Shetty recently commented on his “Golmaal Returns 2”. He mentioned the film to be crap. It was his directorial venture that was released in the year 2008. Rohit Shetty was seen commenting on his own film a few days back. But now Ajay Devgn has also admitted that the film was in fact a crap.

This is because both of them feel that there was highly irrelevant dialogues in the movie. Normally, we don’t see someone calls his own film a crap, but this time both the director and hero come forward saying the film was not fit for the audience we chose to target.

The film happens to be a sequel of Golmal which was shot in the year 2008. It happened to be a comedy drama where a plethora of stars participated. The large star cast in the film included Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Tushar Kapoor, and Kareena Kapoor Khan.

So, these names were the part of the romantic comedy franchise by the name “Golmaal”. At this time, most star cast in the film believe that out of the entire Golmaal series launched, it’s second part was the weakest as it not only screened some irrelevant dialogues but also had a story line.

When someone asked why you feel so about the film, then Ajay said not only me but most of us have the same views about the film. He said all of us have the same opinion about the 2008 released film. While its other parts were better, but in the Golmaal 2 (second part), we felt being carried away.

He was speaking to the PTI. He presented his views as what he felt about the film. He mentioned that some of the dialogues in the film  were not at all suited for the audience we were targeting. There is always a genre to which a particular film projects but in this case, it didn’t actually follow the same genre it was targeted. This is what you see in Golmaal 3.

Rohit Shetty first spotted the film was a crap

Rohit Shetty was the first to spot the bad timing in the film. The flaws that we all spotted in the early part were changed in Golmaal 3. So, you can see, the second part comes out to be the weakest of all 3 parts.

Ajay Devgn is currently busy with his upcoming film ‘Shivaay‘ which is of course his directorial venture. He has lots of hopes from the film. Ajay has done many films with Rohit Shetty in the past, but this time he planned to direct his own film by the name Shivaay. He’s also the Co-producer of the film as well.

He further said that he has put in lots of hard work to produce such kind of a film. For example, the star cast in the film is absolutely brilliant and are really professional. The work done by the child (is also quite astonishing (Abigail Eames). She has done her best performance in the film. ‘Shivaay’ is going to release on October 28, 2016.

The film also marks the debut of Sayyeshaa Saigal (niece of Saira Banu). Now, we all have to see how the movie performs.
