Raees Box Office Collection- The Film Sees A Huge Opening

On the first day of screening, Raees box office collection has been tremendous. It all came together into a package- Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s fine acting skills, ShahRukh Khan’s performance and Sunny Leon’s sizzle.

Albeit, it was a normal working day, but still, ShahRukh Khan starrer managed to attract the crowd back to theatres. By looking at the grand opening, it can be estimated that the film, in fact, had a blockbuster opening. Although, it’s too early to give any kind of verdict, but as per the  audience review, the film is doing an appreciable business.

As per the inputs given by trade experts, ‘Raees’ is heading towards a collection of almost 15-20 crores on its opening day. This is expected to happen irrespective of the scheduled clash between Raees and Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Kaabil’. As we predicted, the film will be doing a great business in the coming days, but it would still depend a lot on the word of mouth from the audience who have already watched the movie.

If we try to dig in more, the character of SRK seems quite realistic and earthiness that has well managed to connect to the audience. On the other hand, the performance of Nawazuddin Siddiqui as a cop is also being appreciated by many. Rahul Dholakia previously made ‘Parzania’ that was also a big commercial movie like Raees.

Raees Box Office Collection to cross Kaabil earnings?

As the film has just released, it would be tough to get an estimate of Raees box office collection and Kaabil earnings. But it would definitely ignite some trend of its performance at the box office. In general, it takes time to gauge the film on the basis of story, screenplay, acting, etc. Still, Raees is expected to do more business as soon as it gets connected to the audience. That’s one of the reasons why the distributors chose this time to release the film so as to connect to the masses.

On the other hand, Kaabil is also a good film that is expected to overtake Raees in the coming time. However, if it going to affect Raees box office collection is not known. Both the films are different and the audience must enjoy the acts of their favorite stars.

While looking at the Raees box office collection, let’s also have a close look at what the film is all about. Well, it tells the saga of a bootlegger by the name Raees Khan. As per the plot, the business of Raees Khan (ShahRukh Khan) gets thwarted and even challenged by a senior cop who’s being played by none other than Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

‘Raees’ also features Pakistani actress Mahira Khan, who was a point of debate in the past (at the time of the release of ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’). The actress has given the nod  to ignite the love interest for SRK in the film. In fact, one can see their on-screen compatibility which is enough to remind us a few romantic songs of SRK in the past.
